Taking a cue from the Microsoft PITA nature of this updater, I'm going to pull the usual routine one is forced to do on a screwy Microsoft installation and delete the whole show and start from scratch. I am deeply troubled to see people replying to this issue having to jump through flaming hoops of annoying nonsense in order to get the update to work. It's a bad installer.Īll my experience with this unique problem tells me it is an APPLE error that requires APPLE attention. As a very old hand at working with Macs I can point out that of course I tried the installation in Safe Mode for both the OS and my Admin account.
